Some advantages and the phylogeny of Polyester ITY

Some advantages of Polyester ITY

Polyester ITY uses polyester as the raw material of silk-like products, both in appearance and feel, have basically reached the level of confusing the real with the fake. Polyester ITY products have the advantages of both natural and synthetic fibers, with silk style, light and elegant, soft and smooth, soft luster, good drape, comfortable and strong wearing, wear resistance, non-ironing, wrinkle resistance, washing and wearability better than real silk fabrics.

Since 1960s, with the rapid development of synthetic fiber, the research and development of synthetic Polyester ITY came into being. Looking at the development of Polyester ITY, it has gone through the following five important stages:

（1）The first generation (1962-1968)

Committed to imitating the appearance of silk. Special-shaped cross-section yarn, ordinary polyester yarn, strong twisting and false twisting processing technology and alkali deweighting treatment products. The product has body bone and luster, smooth feeling, good non-ironing and wrinkle resistance.

（2）The second generation (1969-1973)

Committed to the thorough pursuit of silk style. The development of cationic dyeable polyester is the main symbol of the second generation products. It makes Polyester ITY products closer to real silk products in fiber structure and style, and develops antistatic and antifouling products.

（3）The third generation (1973-1978)

Committed to a deeper level of imitation of the appearance and aesthetics of silk. Focusing on physical modification, it has developed high multifilament, super multifilament and cross-linked filament products. Fine denier filament and fiber mixing technology are the main signs of the third generation products. At the same time, develop polygonal cross-section yarn to improve the hair color, color depth and vividness in dyeing and finishing technology. Therefore, the fabric has silk-like luster, soft and fluffy feel and is not easy to pilling.

（4）The fourth generation (1979-1984)

Committed to approaching the essence of silk. In this period, the technology of superfine denier, heteromorphism and fiber blending of polyester fiber was fully developed and a variety of technologies were comprehensively applied to make Polyester ITY have silk-like sound and luster, as well as good hygroscopicity and antifouling.

（5）The fifth generation (since 1985)

Committed to the development of "super real silk products". The new generation of Polyester ITY not only continues to maintain the excellent style like silk, but also focuses on "super", that is, it is characterized in a certain way, which not only combines the achievements of silk style, but also has its own characteristics.

After more than 50 years'history, Polyester ITY products have moved from simply imitating the appearance characteristics of real silk, such as luster and texture, to imitating the comfort of real silk, and some have even reached the situation of "imitating the middle and surpassing the middle".
