Polyester Drawn Textured Yarn (DTY)
Polyester Drawn Textured Yarn (DTY) is produced from POY. When the POY yarn is drawn and twisted simultaneously, the finished product is drawn textured yarn. Because of the technical features of drawn textured yarn, it has been found to be suitable for a broad range of applications. DTY is ideal for a variety of fabric applications, including outer/inner garments, skin-clinging clothing, furnishings, and upholstery. This yarn is intended to be used in place of cotton and cotton blend yarns that have a very low moisture content.
