In recent years, as the level of textile technology and the textile industry needs to improve,  Sea-island conjugated yarn has become one of the important new textile materials.


Sea-island fiber, also known as super-conjugate polyester yarn, is formed by a core component dispersed in another polymer in a longitudinally continuous way. Polymer material forms the core part, which is also called the island phase or dispersed phase. Another polymer is called sea component, sea phase, or continuous phase. Because original dispersed phase fiber presents as an island state in the fiber section, it is called sea-island fiber.

The "island" and "sea" components are continuous, dense and uniformly distributed in the axial direction of the fiber. In the production process, it has the slenderness of conventional fibers, but when the "sea" component is dissolved with a solvent, a bundle of ultrafine fibers is obtained. According to the general classification of fibers, after the separation of sea island fiber, the single filament slenderness can reach 0.05D, which is a superfine fiber and cannot be achieved by conventional spinning.

Our sea island yarn series are developed early, with a complete range of products and high market share. It is better than similar products in the market in terms of NaOH alkali reduction treatment wastage and color absorption.


Fabric features


Excellent dyeability, Anti-pilling, wear-resistant, breathable and non-irritating to the skin. Due to the ultra-fine fiber, the fiber is more soft,  so the fabric adsorbs more water, and can move this water to the surface of the fabric, so that it evaporates, increasing its comfort, with excellent drapability. At the same time, the smaller the diameter of the microfiber, the smaller the radius of curvature of the fiber, the greater the proportion of scattered light reflected on its surface, so that the surface of the fabric is softer.

The performance of the imitation suede fabric developed by the island fiber is no less than that of natural suede, and many properties are even better than natural suede. Its fabric feel soft, good drapability,  can be woven into different thickness and weight of the fabric; can be a variety of surface treatment, to obtain a variety of surface effects. At the same time, the fabric has good drapability, good breathable and waterproof effect, and high fabric strength, far better than natural suede.
